Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

PrivateAI 1000 is a proposed cooperative project currently in the idea validation and waitlist phase. We collect minimal personal data to operate the waitlist and communicate project updates with interested parties. No payments are collected at this stage. No AI platform is live at this stage.

2. Data collected from the waitlist

When you join the waitlist, we collect the following information you provide voluntarily:

• Full name — to address you personally in communications
• Email address — to send project updates, the full plan, and reservation details when ready
• Your role — to understand the makeup of the interested community
• Interest level — to gauge community commitment and tailor communications
• Optional message — to understand your use case and questions

We do not collect payment information, identification documents, or any sensitive personal data during the waitlist phase. No AI chat data is collected now because there is no AI product live yet.

3. Waitlist form and data handling

The waitlist form may be powered by a third-party form provider or a future backend service. The specific provider and data handling details will be published before the reservation phase opens. If a third-party provider is used, it will be a privacy-respecting service with clear data processing terms.

We will not use your data for unrelated marketing or share it with advertisers.

4. How we use your data

Waitlist data is used only for:

• Sending project updates, the full plan, and the reservation announcement when ready
• Understanding the size and composition of the interested community
• Responding to questions or messages you submit through the waitlist form
• Notifying you when the reservation phase opens

5. No sale of personal data

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal data with third parties for commercial purposes. Your name, email, and waitlist information are not shared with advertisers, data brokers, or any outside parties.

6. Usage analytics

The website may collect basic, anonymized usage analytics to understand which pages are visited and how users navigate the site. Analytics data does not include personal identifiers and is used solely to improve the website. If analytics tools are used, we will use privacy-respecting options that do not sell visitor data.

7. Data storage and security

We take reasonable precautions to protect personal data from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. Detailed information about data storage infrastructure will be published before the reservation phase opens, once the backend is finalized.

8. Data retention

Waitlist data is retained for as long as necessary to operate the cooperative project. If you wish to be removed from the waitlist at any time, you may contact us and we will delete your record. After the reservation phase opens, data retention policies will be updated and communicated to members.

9. Future AI chat data policy (not active yet)

After the platform launches, members will submit AI chat messages, uploaded documents, and other content to the platform. No AI product is live now, so no chat data is collected now. The data policy for active platform use has not yet been finalized and will be published before the platform opens. The intended approach includes:

• Chat messages and documents processed to generate AI responses are not used to train models without explicit consent
• Member data is not shared with third parties without consent
• Members will have the ability to delete their conversation history and uploaded documents
• API fallback requests sent to commercial providers will be subject to those providers' data policies, which will be disclosed clearly

10. Your rights

You have the right to:

• Request access to the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data from our waitlist
• Withdraw consent for communications at any time by unsubscribing
